Introducing Stereolithography (SLA) 3D Printing at Xometry

We're pleased to announce that we now offer SLA, one of the most popular 3D Printing processes on the market.

By Shilpa Garg · July 25, 2018

Xometry now offers Stereolithography (SLA) as a 3D printing capability!

You can now get an instant quote, design feedback, and lead times for SLA through the Xometry Instant Quoting Engine℠. SLA joins Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), and PolyJet 3D as an industrial additive manufacturing process available through Xometry.

Benefits of SLA

  • Higher resolution printing, for fine detail and surface finish
  • Highly versatile: use for both prototypes and production settings
  • Excellent cost-effective stand-in for injection molded plastic parts

Xometry will offer high-resolution options for fine detail pieces and can also print large size parts and products, with some materials offering up to a 58” inch build area. Our manufacturing partner network of over 2,300 machine shops allows us to offer a wide range of materials for SLA, including both Accura and Somos brand materials.
