On October 12th, we were thrilled to have all 5 inaugural members of the Partner Advisory Council (PAC) attend our first meeting at our offices in Bethesda, MD. These members represent a diverse mix of partners in terms of geography, capabilities, years in business, and years with Xometry. The group includes: Brandon Hoag of Zero Hour Parts, Nick Aydelotte of Billet Studios, Tim Herold of Herold Precision Metals, Chau Nguyen of PT&R, Inc., and Matt Brightwell of New London Precision.

The goal of this inaugural meeting was to review product updates and future plans, discuss quality measurement, and understand how Xometry can improve and continue to help add value to the businesses of our partners. Here are a few key takeaways from the meeting.  We are excited to continue to work with this group to make improvements to the Partner Network.

Key Takeaways

  • Everyone in attendance was very pleased with the removal of the 3 job limit.

  • Many PAC members mentioned the slow speed of the Partner Portal, which we have been working tirelessly towards improving.

  • Members agreed that the two main criteria for the Partner Quality Assessments should be the on-time percentage and number of rejections.

Overall this meeting was a fantastic and successful way to kick off the PAC, and we are excited to take our partners’ suggestions to continue to perform better for you!
