Randy Altschuler, Chief Executive Officer

Prior to co-founding Xometry, Randy co-founded and was Executive Chairman of CloudBlue, a leading provider of recycling services for electronic equipment.  CloudBlue was acquired by Ingram Micro in September of 2013.  Before CloudBlue, Randy was the co-founder and chief executive officer of OfficeTiger, a global BPO company.  OfficeTiger was acquired by RR Donnelley in April of 2006.

Randy graduated from Princeton University and received an MBA from the Harvard Business School.


Laurence Zuriff, Chief Financial Officer

Prior to co-founding Xometry, Laurence was the managing partner at Granite Capital International Group.  Before Granite, Laurence was a managing director and technology analyst at Weiss, Peck & Greer.  Laurence began his career as analyst at Science Applications International Corporation and in the Office of Net Assessment at the Department of Defense.

Laurence graduated from Brown University and received a Masters from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.  He currently sits on the board and chairs the Audit Committee of the Washington based Center for Strategic and Budgetary Analysis.


Valerie R. Coffman, Chief Technology Officer

Valerie is a graduate of Johns Hopkins and received a PhD in Physics from Cornell where she wrote software for studying the fracture properties of materials.  After graduation, she spent 5 years at the National Institute of Standards and Technology writing open source software for materials science research.

For the past three years she has been providing data science consulting to startups, specializing in natural language processing and search engine technology.


Tom Kurke, Chief Strategy Officer

Tom has spent virtually his entire 20 year career servicing the needs of designers and engineers who make physical objects from their digital models. As President and Chief Operating Officer at Geomagic, the leading provider of 3D software for capturing, creating and inspecting digital models of physical objects, Tom tripled revenues and returned the company to profitability prior to navigating a successful acquisition by 3D Systems in 2013. During his time at Bentley Systems, a leading provider of software solutions to the AEC industry, he was part of the leadership team that grew revenues from $90MM to more than $500MM.

Tom is educated both as an attorney and an engineer – and through his consulting practice has served as a strategic advisor to numerous companies in the 3D capture/modify/make ecosystem.

Bill Cronin, SVP of Marketing

Cronin brings more than 20 years of experience in senior management roles at MasterCard, USA Today and, most recently, WeddingWire to Xometry.  At WeddingWire, he was the Vice President of Marketing, where he led consumer and B2B marketing as well as Events, Editorial and Public Relations for the online vertical marketplace.  Prior to WeddingWire, Cronin served as Vice President of Marketing at USA Today, leading the relaunch of the brand across all channels.  He also held a number of roles at MasterCard over a decade, including leading marketing for MasterCard Europe as well as creating and leading MasterCard’s Merchant Marketing team.

Bill is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

Scott Rothrock, SVP of Software Engineering

Scott brings more than 20 years of software engineering and product development experience, both at blue chip and venture-backed companies. Prior to joining Xometry, Scott was the Chief Technology Officer at POLITICO. Before POLITICO, he was the VP of Engineering at Appfluent where he was responsible for development of the company’s data warehouse performance management system that is used by a number of Fortune 100 companies. He also has served as the Chief Technology Officer at Goal.com, the largest soccer news web site in the world, and HealthCentral, a network of health and wellness websites delivering both clinical information and patient community to people suffering from chronic diseases. Scott also spent 11 years at Accenture where he consulted to companies such as Verizon, AOL, Sony Music, ETS, and washingtonpost.com on complex, custom systems implementations.

Michael Dickson, VP of Strategic Sourcing

Dickson brings 11 years of experience to Xometry through corporate strategic and operational roles at Siemens, Enviva LP and AES and was most recently a management consultant with global engineering firm Black & Veatch.  Prior to Black & Veatch, Dickson worked in corporate strategy for Siemens’ US subsidiary as well as in engineering and operations at Enviva LP, where he led the development of new manufacturing facilities.

Michael holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas Austin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jason McClure, VP of Manufacturing

Prior to joining Xometry, Jason served as Chief Manufacturing Officer at Maryland-based M&D Machine for 11 years.  During his tenure at M&D Jason implemented AS9100/ISO 9001 standards while managing a team of 30 machinists.

Jason has +20 years of machine operating and quality control experience.


David Tedder, VP of Additive Operations

David has over 15 years of experience in additive manufacturing working for 3D printer manufacturers Z Corporation and 3D Systems.  As a product manager for ZCorp, David successfully launched dozens of products.

As the Quality Assurance manager at both 3D Systems and ZCorp, David’s programs dramatically improved machine reliability and customer satisfaction.

Greg Paulsen, Director of Project Engineering

Greg leads the Project Engineering team, which acts as the primary interface for project management, services, and support.  He is passionate about creating a multi-disciplinary team with technology, communication, and integration at its core.  Greg’s background is in complex rapid prototyping projects, focusing on the various applications of industrial 3D printing.  Prior to Xometry, Greg served as a Graduate Assistant at James Madison University’s Product Realization Lab and later as a Project Engineer at Prototype Productions, Inc. in Virginia.

Laurel Johnson, Director of Internal Operations

Prior to joining Xometry, Laurel was a legal administrator at Cubic Corporation. She served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps in the 2nd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and 3rd Marine Division, where she gained 8 years of operations and project management experience.

Laurel completed her BA in Management at National University in San Diego and received her MBA from University of Maryland.
