How Xometry CAD Add-Ins Work
While each of our CAD add-ins has unique features based on each platform, each add-in has the same powerful quoting capability. The add-ins analyze the geometry of your selected component, then use patented machine-learning algorithms to provide the best price and lead time for your parts.
Once the part has been analyzed, you can toggle your process, material, and quantity to generate updated quotes in real-time, right in your CAD workspace. You can choose from eight types of 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal, and urethane casting as well as hundreds of plastic, metal, composite, and elastomer materials.

Solidworks
Xometry’s add-in for SOLIDWORKS can be downloaded directly from the Xometry website via an MSI Installer. It allows engineers and designers to purchase custom manufactured parts directly from within their CAD workspace.
Fusion
Xometry’s add-in for Autodesk Fusion can be downloaded for Windows from the Autodesk Fusion app store and allows engineers and designers to easily purchase custom manufactured parts from within their CAD workspace.
onshape
Xometry's app for Onshape can be enabled from the Onshape app store and allows engineers and designers to quote and purchase custom manufactured parts from within their CAD workspace with ease.
