Ecommerce General Manager
Jaa brings over 15 years of experience in strategic and customer-focused Ecommerce and Omnichannel Marketing in both B2B & B2C verticals. She comes to Xometry with a strong track record of delivering high-performance business results by forging connections between technology, analytics, and commerce to deliver the right product to the right customer at the right time.
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to co-founding Xometry, Randy co-founded and was Executive Chairman of CloudBlue, a leading provider of recycling services for electronic equipment. CloudBlue was acquired by Ingram Micro in September of 2013. Before CloudBlue, Randy was the co-founder and chief executive officer of OfficeTiger, a global BPO company. OfficeTiger was acquired by RR Donnelley in April of 2006. Randy joined the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland's (RMI) Board of Directors in 2017, representing the interests of manufacturers across the region. Randy graduated from Princeton University and received an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Director of Operations Research
John began his career as an operations research analyst at U.S. Strategic Command in Omaha, where he worked on stockpile analysis and optimization, moving to Washington and supporting the New START arms control negotiations on Air Staff. At Marriott and Targeted Victory, he designed experiments and algorithms to measure and predict the effectiveness and value of digital marketing. Before coming to Xometry, John developed machine learning products at WealthEngine, a Bethesda software company providing wealth intelligence and consumer insights as a service. A native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, he holds a bachelor’s and master’s in Operations Research from Princeton and Georgia Tech.
Director of Sales for Business Development
Chris is responsible for leading the growth and retention efforts of Xometry’s sales team. He brings 12 years of experience leading sales efforts in the Manufacturing on Demand and Regulatory markets. Prior to joining Xometry, Chris lead a sales team at a technology enabled manufacturing company and spent six months re-focusing the sales and sales operations functions of their European division while being based in England. He also spent two years at Intertek leading their growth efforts in the mid-west and consulting his customers on the product development process from ideation through globalization.
VP of Relationship Marketing
Danny brings over 18 years of product management and marketing experience to Xometry through a career in e-commerce, automotive, technology advisory, and finance. Prior to joining Xometry, Danny led product marketing for the technology practice and the events business at CEB (acquired by Gartner). He also co-founded a startup in mobile learning where he learned to relish the daily struggles of being an entrepreneur. Previously, Danny was the Head of Marketing and Site Experience at eBay Motors, where he built its largest personalization platform and eBay's first Facebook integration. He also held various leadership roles at AAA, HSBC, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He is an inventor on 3 US patents and his brand marketing work won a Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity award. Danny holds a BA in history from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Director of Development Operations
Chris leads Xometry's efforts on Agility, Reliability, and Security. Chris has held technical and leadership roles in venture-backed companies as well as large research labs. He has extensive experience in accelerating data science, computational science, and software engineering teams. Chris holds a BS in Computer Science from The University of Chicago and a MS in Computer Science from DePaul University.
Chief Revenue Officer
Cronin brings more than 20 years of experience in senior sales and marketing roles at MasterCard, USA Today and, most recently, WeddingWire to Xometry. At WeddingWire, he was the Vice President of Marketing, where he led consumer and B2B marketing as the vertical marketplace more than doubled revenues in two years. Prior to WeddingWire, Cronin served as Vice President of Marketing at USA Today, leading the relaunch of the brand across all channels including rapid growth in social media. He also held a number of roles at MasterCard over a decade, including leading marketing for MasterCard Europe during MasterCard’s successful IPO. He led the global expansion of MasterCard’s “Priceless” marketing platform as well as creating and leading MasterCard’s Merchant Marketing team. Bill is a graduate of Dartmouth College.
VP of Partner Network
Dickson brings 11 years of experience to Xometry through corporate strategic and operational roles at Siemens, Enviva LP and AES and was most recently a management consultant with global engineering firm Black & Veatch. Prior to Black & Veatch, Dickson worked in corporate strategy for Siemens’ US subsidiary as well as in engineering and operations at Enviva LP, where he led the development of new manufacturing facilities. Michael holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas Austin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining Xometry, Peter spent over 30 years in the Automotive industry delivering over $10 Billion in automotive components and modular systems. As the Vice President of Operations for Magna Interior Systems for North America and the United Kingdom, Peter expanded and restructured the technical support and management group and led the team through strategic acquisition and consolidations, the launch of new technologies, the award of major new contracts and organic expansions. Prior to Magna, Peter was the of COO of Dakkota Integrated Systems, building and leading a management team in its initial founding and multiple growth phases. Peter also held multiple management roles with Detroit Manufacturing systems, a major provider of automotive interior systems. Peter holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University in Canada.
VP of Software Engineering
Brian Herbert currently serves as the VP of Software Engineering at Xometry, the largest on demand manufacturing platform in the United States. Previously, he served as the Chief Technology Officer at MakeTime, a company in manufacturing tech, and Ushahidi, an open source software company in election monitoring, crisis response, advocacy and human rights. He also served in the Peace Corps in Kenya and on contract in West Africa. Brian currently serves on the Board of Directors at the World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana. He received his MBA from Kennesaw State University and a BS in Computer Information Systems from Bellarmine University.
Director of Business Operations and Supply Management
Justin brings 12+ years of experience leading operational, engineering, and sales efforts in manufacturing and manufacturing on demand. Prior to joining Xometry, he lead the Fulfillment team at MakeTime, Inc, a manufacturing on demand company. And before MakeTime, Justin spent 10+ years designing, building, and delivering CNC machines, robotic solutions, and automated manufacturing lines and processes to customers worldwide.
VP of Business Development
Tom leads Xometry’s strategic partnership efforts, to which he brings over 15 years of experience in senior business development roles. Most recently, Tom led business development at MakeTime, where he launched the company’s Shop Advantage Program, partnering with industry leaders like Sandvik Coromant, Autodesk and Dell. Prior to MakeTime, Tom headed up the business development team at MakerBot (acquired by Stratasys), where he launched first-of-their-kind 3D printing partnerships with name brands, such as Microsoft, The Home Depot, Sanrio and Sesame Street, to name just a few. Earlier in his career, he was the CEO of Phoebus Optoelectronics, a nanoscience research start-up that develops metamaterials for the Department of Defense. Tom holds a B.A. in chemistry from Carleton College and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Harvard University.
Director of Internal Operations
Prior to joining Xometry, Laurel was a legal administrator at Cubic Corporation. She served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps in the 2nd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and 3rd Marine Division, where she gained 8 years of operations and project management experience. Laurel completed her BA in Management at National University in San Diego and received her MBA from University of Maryland.
VP of People and Culture
For the past twenty years Angela has been helping companies grow through innovative recruiting and talent management programs. Before joining Xometry she was Chief Human Resources Officer for Generali Global Assistance North America and supported multiple business lines in all stages of growth for Travel Insurance, Identity Theft, Eldercare, and Healthcare. Previously she held positions in Leadership Development and Human Resources for America Online, Discovery Communications, and Forrester Construction. She has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the State University of Buffalo, NY and a Masters in Career Development from the University of Virginia.
Kuo bring over 13 years of finance and accounting management experience to Xometry. Prior to joining Xometry, Kuo was CFO of an e-commerce service company Skye Associates, LLC based in Rockville. He greatly improved the reliability of financial information at the company and drastically reduced cost and improved margins for the company. Prior to Skye, Kuo was a managing consultant at CrossCountry Consulting, where he provided finance and accounting services to companies in several industries and assisted with accounting system implementations. Kuo has a dual degree from the University of Maryland in Accounting and Operations and Quality Management.
VP of Growth Marketing
Aaron brings over 14 years of experience in marketing and sales at Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), Google, and Procter & Gamble to Xometry. At PHA, Aaron led influential brand and direct marketing campaigns and developed strategic partnerships with the food industry. At Google, Aaron and his teams helped large companies, political campaigns, and advocacy groups develop winning digital marketing strategies, regularly exceeding revenue goals. Prior to Google, Aaron held marketing, innovation and brand management roles on the Tide, Downy, and Gain brands at Procter & Gamble. He worked on projects including the launch of Tide Simple Pleasures and the expansion of the Gain brand. Aaron has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Yale University and was a one-day Jeopardy! champion in January 2019.
Director of Business Intelligence
Prior to joining Xometry, Andrew was an analytics consultant at MarketBridge, a boutique consulting firm specializing in technology enabled B2B and B2C sales and marketing. In this role, he helped Fortune 500 & Fortune 1000 companies improve their sales and marketing productivity through data-driven customer segmentation, predictive analytics, and content personalization. Once at Xometry, Andrew focused on building out our analytics practice within the Sales & Marketing teams, and on expanding our business intelligence function across the organization to further support data-driven decision making. Andrew studied Philosophy and Applied Mathematics as an undergraduate at Colgate University.
SVP of Sales
Kathy brings more than 20 years of technology sales and sales leadership experience. She has a passion for new business development through expanding services and broadening territories that focus on achieving organizational goals and enhancing the customer experience. Prior to Xometry, Kathy worked for leading organizations spanning from e-commerce to IT deployment and integration services, to custom parts manufacturing. She led the North American sales organization with rapid prototyping company, Proto Labs, and was Director of North American sales and Director of Strategic Alliances for leading global IT Integrator Comm-Works. Kathy holds a Business and Communications degree from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.
VP of Manufacturing
Prior to joining Xometry, Jason served as Chief Manufacturing Officer at Maryland-based M&D Machine for 11 years. During his tenure at M&D Jason implemented AS9100/ISO 9001 standards while managing a team of 30 machinists. Jason has +20 years of machine operating and quality control experience.
President of Xometry Supplies
Drura joined Xometry as part of the acquisition of MakeTime, where he was founder and CEO. He brings 16 years of experience in on demand manufacturing, having founded multiple design and manufacturing companies during that time. Drura has graduate architecture degrees from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, Savannah College of Art and Design, a BA from DePaul University and is a proud third-generation manufacturer.
Director of Applications Engineering
Greg leads the Applications Engineering team, which handles special case projects that require attention on material selection, design-for-manufacturing, or technical engineering resources. He is passionate about creating a multi-disciplinary team with technology, communication, and integration at its core. Greg also plays a vital role in vetting new technologies and materials to add to Xometry's manufacturing portfolio. Greg’s background is in product development using rapid prototyping, focusing on the various applications of industrial 3D printing and advanced manufacturing.
SVP of Operations
Dan brings 20 years of operations experience from the aerospace and marine industries. He has held leadership roles in engineering, project/program management, new product development, and manufacturing. He is proficient with developing and sustaining new systems to drive operational improvements. Most recently Dan directed manufacturing operations at Sea Ray, a division of the Brunswick Corp. Dan holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a PMP certified Project Manager.
Chief Technology Officer
Scott brings more than 20 years of software engineering and product development experience, both at blue chip and venture-backed companies. Prior to joining Xometry, Scott was the Chief Technology Officer at POLITICO. Before POLITICO, he was the VP of Engineering at Appfluent where he was responsible for development of the company’s data warehouse performance management system that is used by a number of Fortune 100 companies. He also has served as the Chief Technology Officer at Goal.com, the largest soccer news web site in the world, and HealthCentral, a network of health and wellness websites delivering both clinical information and patient community to people suffering from chronic diseases. Scott also spent 11 years at Accenture where he consulted to companies such as Verizon, AOL, Sony Music, ETS, and washingtonpost.com on complex, custom systems implementations.
Director of Web Development
Benjamin brings more than 15 years of software engineering and testing experience to Xometry. Prior to joining Xometry, Benjamin was a senior manager at Mozilla, responsible for product and quality metrics, quality engineering, and data stewardship for the Firefox web browsers. Prior to his career in software, Benjamin was a professional organist and choir director, and holds a degree in organ performance and sacred music from The Catholic University of America.
Director of Operations
Shawn brings 20 years of operations experience in the military and civilian sector. A retired Army Aviator, he held leadership positions in flight operations, maintenance and maintenance test flights activities and logistics operations finishing his career on the Headquarters, Department of the Army Staff in the Pentagon. Just prior to joining Xometry, Shawn was an Operations Manager for Amazon Robotics and Legacy Fulfillment Centers. Shawn is a focused and motivated leader with extensive experience managing projects, leading diverse teams, and implementing process improvements. Shawn holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.
Director of Customer and Partner Care
Bill brings 20+ years of Operations and Customer Relations experience. He has an extensive background in contact center leadership, customer service development, and multi-unit operations management. He is responsible for overseeing the Customer and Partner Care Teams. Bill has been pivotal in the implementation and development of Xometry's Support Team.
VP of Data Science
Mark began his career as a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Kettering University, where he also served as of head of the department of electrical and computer engineering and as the associate vice-president for academic affairs. Since leaving higher education he has held leadership positions in data science at Quicken Loans in Detroit where he led a team of data scientists and engineers and at Starfish Retention Solutions (later acquired by Hobsons) where he was the director of data science and developed predictive models to identify at-risk students. Mark graduated from the University of Dayton and holds MS and Ph.D degrees in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to co-founding Xometry, Laurence was the managing partner at Granite Capital International Group. Before Granite, Laurence was a managing director and technology analyst at Weiss, Peck & Greer. Laurence began his career as analyst at Science Applications International Corporation and in the Office of Net Assessment at the Department of Defense. Laurence graduated from Brown University and received a Masters from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He currently sits on the board and chairs the Audit Committee of the Washington based Center for Strategic and Budgetary Analysis.
