How does Xometry vet its Partners?
Xometry requires every supplier to manufacture a test part that showcases their craftsmanship. Suppliers that pass the test part are further vetted on certifications, quality, capacity, etc. From there, the supplier is approved and allowed to take their first low-risk job. After they have proven their reliability and consistency, Xometry will grant them access to more challenging work.
Xometry Partners agree to be continuously evaluated on their performance and receive a Partner Success Score, which measures their rate of on-time delivery, commitment to quality, and continued, reliable engagement. For an added layer of assurance, Xometry’s own in-house Applications Engineering Team and Quality Assurance Lab work as an additional checkpoint to ensure customers’ parts are manufactured in accordance with their specs and desired certifications.
How are Partners matched with projects?
We leverage proprietary AI to source at scale across our vetted Partner Network, driving optimal pricing and differentiated lead times through strategic human oversight on complex, custom projects. Whether you use the Xometry Instant Quoting Engine® or receive a sales-assisted quote, your project is matched with the best-fit Partners based on the process, material, and lead time you require.
Will the same Xometry Partner work on repeat parts or orders?
On tooled process orders, such as injection molding or die-casting, the same Partner will perform repeat work. For specific instructions on setting up repeat orders for parts that have existing tools, check out this article.
For lower-volume processes, such as CNC machining, it's not guaranteed that the same supplier will work on the repeat order, but we are happy to accommodate same-supplier orders if desired.

How do I know that my information is secure?
Xometry values your privacy and security. You always own your data, and Xometry only uses it to estimate, fabricate, and review customer-specific projects. Customer data is not shared outside of Xometry's services. Projects fulfilled by Xometry's Manufacturing Partner Network are assigned unique internal IDs that are not specific to the customer or the ultimate project. Xometry Partners respect our customers and confidentiality through non-disclosure and service agreements.
